How many masterclasses are included as part of my subscription?

We offer one masterclass per month which will be live-streamed on the date and time advertised. There will be an opportunity to ask questions throughout the Masterclass.



Do I need to register for a Masterclass?

No. Masterclasses are open to all active subscribers and there is no pre-registration required for this.



Where can I view Masterclasses?
Masterclasses can be viewed from within your Highland Dancing On Demand account. You can attend this live live or view later when the masterclass is uploaded to the Masterclass catalogue.



How many Workshops are scheduled each month?

This number will vary with popularity. We will always aim to have at least 1x small class per month with 20 available. The Workshops are available to all including non-subscribers; however, a special discount will be applied for those who are are active subscribers. (Please email david@highlanddancingondemand.com for the coupon code.) Workshops can be purchased from our “Workshop Registration” section.



What is the difference between a Masterclass and a Workshop?

Masterclasses are a live class for all active subscribers delivered over a 1-way conference call set up. The Instructors will not be able to see you for correction, however, you can see them and ask questions on the topic of the month via the chat. Workshops are small interactive classes where Instructors can see you and offer personalised corrections. Workshops will be on the theme of the Masterclass that month.



Do you offer bulk discounts for dance schools?
Yes, we offer a free subscription to Dance teachers with 10 or more active subscribers. If you are interested in this for your own Dance School, please contact david@highlanddancingondemand.com for details.



Do you offer workshops for dancing schools?

Yes. David offers personal workshops for Dance Schools or Dancing Associations, either in-person or online. If you are interested in this for your own Dance School or Dancing Association, please contact us through david@highlanddancingondemand.com



Will the videos play on all devices?

Yes. By default, the videos are optimised to play on all web browsers including on mobile without the need for apps. The built-in video players also support AirPlay and Chromecast functionality, so you can cast your videos to your TV.



What safeguards do you use to avoid video buffering or playback issues?

Our video streaming partner uses a technology called a CDN (Content Delivery Network) that’s responsible for delivering our videos. It is the same technology both Netflix and YouTube use, so you’re in good hands. We also use multi-bitrate streaming to stream your videos so they are transcoded for multi-device delivery for optimum viewing experience.



Can I watch over the Mobile internet?

Streaming and playback quality will depend on your ISP and mobile network provider, we recommend 4G or connecting via your home WiFi.



Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes, your subscription can be cancelled at anytime.



How do I cancel my membership?

Not that we think you will want to cancel but we understand that circumstances change. Click onto your Account, then click Purchases, from there you can see “Cancel Membership”. There is no charge for cancelling, however you will lose your discount coupon if you are using one. You will be able to subscribe again.



Can I pause my subscription?
No. Unfortunately not at this time but we are working towards this feature.



How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password at anytime by visiting the sign in page of the website and clicking on the forgotten password link.



Can I change my subscription payment date?
Yes. If you would like to do this please contact david@highlanddancingondemand.com and state which day of the month you would like the payment to leave your account.
